This is me attempting to look Neovictorian. Costume exhibitionism!

ReplyDeleteOzymandias, at least at a steampunk event, I normally bow and kiss the air above a woman's hand (in the traditional style) when we're introduced. You don't have to make me, you just have to give me your hand. :)
ReplyDeleteWow! Are there many steampunk events? The possibility of wearing such a costume speaks volumes in favor of more of them!
ReplyDeleteI've always had this desire to someday be introduced somewhere by a butler. And to wear a top hat. Never happened (I even have trouble tying a tie knot), but it feels like something I would enjoy.

ReplyDeleteAsehpe, this is the first one other than a LARP that I've ever been too. There are a lot of conventions, I don't know if there are many monthly events like Dorian's.
