Whispers
I’m afraid of your look/glance, because I lost myself deeply in it
When you whisper to me, I have shivers
Because I lost you so many times
You tore a piece from my soul
Hide it, so that I can be the only one to find it
A whole world to look for, it’s hard to me
It rains slowly and I’m still waiting to [hear] your hurried steps
I hold myself from crying, if you only knew how hard it was for me not to feel you close
It rains slowly and I’m still waiting to [hear] your hurried steps
I hold myself from crying, if you only knew how hard it was for me not to feel you close
I’m afraid you’ll forget me and I would lose you look/glance
I’m once again lost betweeen clouds
I’ve looked for you thousands of times
You tore a piece from my soul
Hide it, so that I can be the only one to find it
A whole world to look for, it’s hard to me
ha aa aa..it’s so hard for me
aa…it’s so hard for me
It rains slowly
It rains slowly
It rains slowly
It rains slowly
It rains slowly and I’m still waiting to [hear] your hurried steps
I hold myself from crying, if you only knew how hard it was for me not to feel you close
It rains slowly and I’m still waiting to [hear] your hurried steps
I hold myself from crying, if you only knew how hard it was for me not to feel you close
I'm so sorry, Mousie. I'll keep praying for you. I wish you lived closer so that I could give you a big hug--you seem like you really need it.
ReplyDeleteThank you; I greatly appreciate the intention of a hug!
ReplyDeleteYou are in my prayers Mousie, I just posted something on my blog. It isn't just for you a lot of blog friends of mine seem to be going through a tough time in different ways. If you would do me a favor print out the St. Patrick's Breastplate and try it one morning.
ReplyDeleteI will do that Odysseus, thanks! Prayer tends to be the weak point in my spiritual life because my strong suit is listening, not talking, so I appreciate a written prayer.
ReplyDeleteDear M - your story sounds so familiar ...it takes a long while to get over losing a loved one for whatever reason. I imagine 2 years would be a minimum time for most people just to get to a place where they can start to move on. You just need to work through it, be gentle with yourself, try to find something positive in everyday and believe that it will be over one day . ..and yes, it helps greatly to have someone to support you and provide hugs.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Candice! I wonder, is that 2 years from when she left (which'll be this coming February 2012?) 2 years from when I knew she wasn't coming back (June 2012?) 2 years from when the divorce was final and I stopped wearing my ring (January 2013?) I don't like to think of all that time; I'd better just focus on where I am now.
